Designing Your Session

Print Release

I grant Christina Joye Photography the right to take photographs of me and my family in connection with the above identified event. I authorize Christina Joye Photography, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.

COVID Waiver

Cleanliness

All props are sanitized or washed after each session.
There will be a 24hr time frame between sessions.
Photographer has had both doses of the vaccine and will not wear a mask unless requested to do so. Photographer will wash their hands frequently.

Your Part

Vaccinated persons will comply with current government guidelines regarding masking.
Immediate family members only, no additional guests allowed at this time.
If you've had Covid-19 or contact with anyone with Covid-19, please let me know as soon as possible.
Please reschedule your appointment ASAP if you are experiencing any of these symptoms: Fever, cough, dizziness, lack of taste or smell, fatigue or any other symptoms.
Maintain 6 feet distance as much as possible.
If you've traveled within 2 weeks from your session date then please reschedule until 14 days have passed.

Upon Arrival

Please arrive in a face mask if you are not vaccinated or a mask will be provided if you do not have one.
Wear casual footwear and leave at the front door.
Upon settling into the studio please wash your hands or use sanitizer.
Please only eat food in the designated kitchen area and not in the studio.
Please relax on the couch and avoid being in the prop/photography area of the studio.

DISCLAIMER AGREEMENT

I certify that I have read the above studio policies. I acknowledge that I am entering at my own will and take full responsibility for myself and all attending guests. I wish to move forward with my session and am aware of the risks involved surrounding Covid-19. I waive my rights to seek damages, compensations, or any involvement on Christina Joye Photography.

Failure to perform. If the Photographer is unable to perform this agreement due to illness, emergency, fire, casualty, strike, Act of God, or causes beyond the control of the Photographer, the Photographer and Client shall make every attempt to reschedule the session.

PAYMENT METHODS

Christina Joye Photography accepts cash and credit cards only. You can not pay by check. Christina Joye Photography collects a 6% Michigan State Sales Tax on all products purchased.

SESSION PAYMENT

Full payment of your session is due upon booking your session. Your session time and date will not be reserved until the payment is received.

RESCHEDULING

You may reschedule your session up until 24 hours prior. Christina Joye Photography will not reschedule your session on the day of unless there is an emergency. If you wish to reschedule on your session day for normal reasons there will be a $50 rescheduling fee.

NO-SHOWS

If you do not show up for your scheduled session or you are more than one hour late there will be a $50 rescheduling fee. If you do not show for your rescheduled session Christina Joye Photography will be forced to fire you as a client; no reimbursment for the session will be provided.

RE-SHOOTS

If for some reason we are not able to get the images we need at your scheduled session Christina Joye Photography may request a re-shoot. Re-shoots are only scheduled at the discretion of Christina Joye Photography. Christina Joye Photography will not schedule a re-shoot because you had to leave for another appointment or misbehavior of guests. If the images meet the standards of Christina Joye Photography a re-shoot will be denied. If you do not like your images for personal reasons and they meet the standards set by Christina Joye Photography you may choose to schedule another session.

BEHAVIOR

You and all guests are expected to behave in an appropriate manner at all times during our session. Any damage: emotional, property, studio, or props will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. Severe damage will result in you being fire as a client and legal actions may be taken. If you are planning on sibling and family images at your newborn session a great idea is to have them arrive toward that end of the session to have their photographs taken. Please discuss a plan of action with Christina. This of course does not apply to newborns. I expect newborns to go to the bathroom on my backgrounds and that does not apply to prop damage.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

You will be asked to sign a Client Order Approval form when you pick up your products at the studio. Please look over all prints and products. If there are any errors or damage you must notify Christina Joye Photography at the time of pick up. If you say nothing and sign the approval form there is nothing Christina Joye Photography can do for you. If you make a complaint at a later date Christina Joye Photography will have to assume that the damage was not the fault of Christina Joye Photography or the lab where the product was printed. Due to the custom nature of the product there will be no refunds or exchanges once the product is delivered.

DIGITAL IMAGES

When displaying images online they must be watermarked or in the comments you must say that the images are Copyright of Christina Joye Photography. Christina Joye Photography is not responsible for printing errors or for quality of prints if they are not printed directly by Christina Joye Photography. You may crop your images but you may not alter the color, add filters, or change the overall look of an image.

OTHER

Christina Joye Photography retains the Copyrights of all images (even those purchased as digital download). With the signed model release Christina Joye Photography reserves the right to use the images and/or reproductions for display, publications, or other purposes. If you wish for Christina Joye Photography to not use a certain image please express your concerns. Under no circumstances can a client use images for commercial purposes, profit, photographic competition or display.

Please do not copy images you have not purchased. Copying, screenshotting, printing, or scanning images from your online gallery, the Christina Joye Photography website, or from other materials is considered stealing, regardless of the intent for use.
